Description We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be a key player within a project to enhance a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The CMMS is Maximo Enterprise Suite (MXES). This is a short term contract role with the following responsibilities:

Create generic job plans for generic (non Safety Critical Element equipments) based on the operators generic maintenance task library.
Create performance assurance job tasks, plans and PM’s for equipments designated as SCE (Safety Critical Elements).
Create measurement points, meters and meter groups in Maximo for performance assurance related tasks.
Assign groupings to the maintenance tasks within the spreadsheets to assist with their scheduling within MXES.
Liaise with the specialist contractor to provide support as required to facilitate the assessments of safety critical elements, updating of performance standards and the allowable system and component failure rates.
Prepare Maximo Asset and Preventive Maintenance Modules master data to enable problem free upload into MXES.
Provide support to users when they conduct user acceptance testing.
Provide support to the rollout of the new system
The Candidate should have a minimum of Higher National Certificate in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical).
Knowledge of technical integrity systems in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Knowledge of performance standards, assurance tasks and verification schemes in the offshore oil and gas industry

Must have previous CMMS experience including updating and implanting changes within their CMMS, preferably Maximo Enterprise Suite.

Understanding of workflows in Maximo and related business processes.

A good appreciation of best practice, condition based maintenance techniques and maintenance strategies for mechanical equipment (static and rotating).

Ideally should have some experience of high-pressure process plant, rotating equipment – operation and maintenance.

Should have a working knowledge of On and Offshore legislation appropriate to maintenance work

Ability to work with complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets inclusive of a capability to filter and amend data in accordance with a predefined process

Understanding of FME(C)A, Criticality assessment, RCM and CBM.

Valid Offshore Survival ticket desirable.

It is essential that the candidate is capable of rational thought and have good communication skills and the ability to assimilate information quickly, distil pertinent points, make decisions and be a team player.

It is expected that the engineer understands the development process and deliverables of planned maintenance, CMMS, work management and implementation thereof.

Knowledge of Integrity Management Systems, safety case maintenance requirements, and the Management of Safety Critical Equipment testing and Maintenance is an advantage.

Hours - 37.5 hours per week (flexibly)
