List Recruitment is seeking a Process Engineer for a client based in Hull. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering great growth and learning opportunities in a dynamic and high-paced working environment, with a strong team spirit.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
· Involved in all chemical and process engineering design and assurance.
· Conceptual design for novel Hydrogen and Carbon-based process.
· Process engineering activities for Front End Engineering Design, through to detailed design and fabrication.
· Process engineering activities to support commissioning and on-going support for day-to day operations of the clients units.
· Responsibility for producing and maintaining process flow diagrams, P&ID's, process datasheets, Line and valve lists.
· Process design and engineering, calculation, optimisation, sizing and selection of equipment.
· Management of the Technology development through implementing design change processes (management of change).
· Support the development of company process engineering design standards and best practice.
· Supporting the preparation and execution of process safety reviews e.g. HAZOP studies.
Qualifications
Essential
Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
Desirable
Chartered Engineer
Relevant Skills and Experience
· Minimum of 5 years' relevant industry experience.
· High level of chemical engineering knowledge within a manufacturing or design environment
· Sound understanding of HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and Hazardous area classification in relation to process safety is preferable
