Job Title: Analyser Technician - Lindsey

Job Description

As an Analyser Technician, you will carry out Planned, Scheduled and Breakdown Maintenance work to agreed quality standards in a way that continuously improves Reliability.

Core Responsibilities

·        Follows all Maintenance Procedures and Best Practices to delivery all Maintenance requirements for On-Line Analysers and Gas Detection systems.

·        Take ownership of all relevant Analyser Procedures and drive their continued improvement.

·        Primary Interface with Operations Department to ensure maintenance activities have minimal impact on process operation.

·        Support Analyser Leader with the implementation of all new Analyser systems and with engineered modifications to existing systems.

·        Ownership of Analyser PPM worklists, ensuring all work is completed on time and PPM Compliance Targets are achieved.

·        Coach and Mentor to Shift Power and Control Technicians, Apprentices and any allocated Contractors in all aspects of Analyser Activities.

·        Primary Interface with Process Technicians, Field Leaders and Process Engineers to ensure work requests are dealt with in a timely manner.

·        Drive Teamwork principles within the Analyser Group.

·        Ownership of Analyser Performance Monitoring Systems, providing all data required for scheduled updates.

·        Role Model for Company Core Values and behavioural expectations.

Behavioural Competencies

• Effective time manager and able to set priorities when dealing with extensive work lists.
• A Team player who can offer a high level of flexibility that is required for a small independent team of Technicians.
• Able to support Instrument Group Activities during Turnarounds and periods of exceptional workload.
• Clear understanding of Management of Change Process.
• Permit to Work Originator/Receiver, be able to complete Risk Assessments and understand MSDS System.

Key Skills

·        SAP skills in the PM and MM modules to aproficient level to allow planning and execution of Maintenance requests.

·        Demonstrated plant maintenance experience with On-Line Analyser systems.

·        Minimum defined Technician qualifications.

·        Working knowledge of the Refinery topography

·        IT skills associated with data handling and data organisation.
