Job Description
As a Field Execution Coordinator, you will provide strong leadership, supervision, and coordination of assigned decommissioning teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of decommissioning activities. Accountable for delivering the decommissioning plan (and any approved variations) while meeting or exceeding Safety, Environmental, and Productivity objectives.
Core Responsibilities
• Spend approximately 80% of time out in the field during the execution of decommissioning works.
• Lead all on-shift safety and environmental activities, ensuring full compliance with site standards and procedures.
• Responsible for leading staff and contractor work groups in the achievement of the decommissioning program of works
• Being a focal coordination point to solve issues between all work groups
• Monitors, enforces, and exhibits high work standards.
• Responsible for compliance with refinery policy’s rules and procedures.
• Communicates expectations to multiple work groups .
• Responsible for the coordination, prioritising and timely execution of work in response to Safety, Environmental or decommissioning activities.
• Serves as focal point for coordination of planned operating activities with other areas and maintains open and effective communications with other shift leadership teams.
• Accountable for execution requirements for decommissioning and provides expertise in the overall planning and scheduling.

The Humber Refinery is playing its part of the UK’s decarbonisation efforts.
As a part of the UK Government’s net zero ambition, the Humber Refinery is on a journey to become the Refinery of the Future. With proposed plans for a number of projects including to implement a first-of-a-kind FCC carbon capture project, the Humber Refinery is part of Humber Zero, a world-scale concept to reduce UK industry carbon emissions, saving up to 8 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030 from the Immingham industrial area.
On top of this, the Humber Refinery is the UK’s only refiner producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel at scale. It is also the only European facility producing battery anode coke, which forms a critical component for lithium-ion batteries used in electrical vehicles and in consumer electronics. Our current production of battery anode coke is equivalent to placing 1.3 million EVs on the road every year, and we are developing multiple projects to expand this capability.
